Amulet necklace made with an upper jaw tusk from a dutch wild boar. This tooth is from vintage origin (approximately 1950-1960) and has been restored, filled and reinforced to give it a new life in this necklace. Though now not fragile anymore, of course the old damages and imperfections can still be seen, but isn't that exactly what gives this necklace its character?
In this necklace, the old tusk is joined by four wild boar foot bones (from more recent origin) and natural wooden beads. Strung on black waxcord and made into a necklace with a simple lobster style jewelry clasp.
The central tooth has a length of approximately 5 centimeters (measured in a straight line, next to the tooth) or 7 centimeters (measured going along with the curve). The foot bones are approximately 3-4 centimeters long.
